Write Better, More Accurate Ad Content

If quality leads are lacking, your ad content may be to blame.

 

Improving the quality of your ad content is a simple way to increase your leads and ensure that the ones coming in are from the most desirable tenants. Your ads may need some attention if they include any of the following:

 

  • Spelling and grammar mistakes
  • Excessive capitalization
  • Overuse of punctuation
  • Incomplete thoughts and sentences
  • Generalizations and buzzwords that don't actually say anything

 

Once you clean up the formatting, it's time to give some serious thought to what you are saying about your rental property. Like any quality piece of writing, consider the 5 W's.

 

  • Who is your target audience?
  • What do they need to know about the property?
  • When is the unit available?
  • Where is the property located?
  • Why should they choose your property?

 

Don't forget to include how they should contact you!

 

Now that you've sorted out the content of your ad, it's time to really sell your property. Paint a picture of the life prospective tenants will live at your property, using language that appeals to your target audience and is consistent with the property and neighbourhood amenities.

RENT NOW!!! THIS SPACIOUS , 2 BEDROOM SUITE IS LOCATED IN AN GREAT AREA. QUIET COMMUNITY CLOSE TO NIGHTLIFE.. PET FRIENDLY. CALL NOW WON'T LAST.

 

Do:

You work hard. Make sure your next home is one that promotes the ultimate in relaxation.
