Carissa Drohan-Jennings - New Hire

Thorold, Ontario, July 1, 2010 - Landlord Web Solutions is excited to announce the recent hire of Carissa Drohan-Jennings as the new Director of Marketing and Communications.

Carissa comes to Landlord Web Solutions from Skyline Apartment REIT where she held many titles over her 5 year term, including Graphic Designer, Website Manager and Marketing Coordinator.  "I was fortunate enough to work with Carissa while I was the Marketing Manager at Skyline," says Jason Leonard, Director of Business Development at Landlord Web Solutions.  "I was always impressed with her creative abilities, the passion she displayed for her work and her ability to learn any new task quickly and efficiently.  I'm excited to be working with her once again."

Although Carissa is probably best known throughout the apartment industry in Canada for her articles that appear in Canadian Apartment Magazine, she’s actually experienced more notoriety.  In 2009, her creative contributions to the "Make The Move" campaign earned Skyline the Federation of Rental Housing Providers of Ontario the Maintenance Advertising and Construction Award (FRPO M.A.C. Award) for Corporate Branding. 

The Make the Move or “Fish Campaign” was an innovative change in marketing for the rental industry and its edgy nature gained the attention of both the judges and the competition. This outside the box thinking, coupled with her direct experience marketing apartments in the industry makes this hire a perfect fit for our team.

Carissa holds a diploma from Conestoga College for Marketing.
